The strikes will end

The Finnish Transport Workers’ Union AKT started a political strike of the stevedoring sector on March 11, 2024. According to the latest announcement, the strikes in Finnish ports will end and stevedoring operations will start again on Monday April 8 at 6 o'clock.

The strike has lasted about four weeks.

Due to the long-lasting strikes, it is good to note that the crowded ports and the unloading of shipments take time. Due to this, there will be transport delays for some time after the strike ends.
