News updated on 27 March 2024.

The stevedoring strike covers all ports and port operations in Finland, such as unloading, loading, receiving, and releasing units. Only modules with driver are allowed on the ships, therefore the strike will especially affect road transport and reduce the transport capacity to / from Finland by sea.

CHS's warehouses are operating normally, but due to the port strike, there may be possible delays in the loads arriving and leaving the warehouses.

We are doing everything we can to minimize the effects of the industrial action on our customers' supply chains, but when strikes are on, shipping delays and disruptions cannot be avoided. We always try to inform our customers about changes as soon as possible.

If you need more information, please contact your CHS/Scanlink- contact person. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the situation.
