Sea freight – please note holiday changes
• During week 52, no export container loadings will take place from Finland.
• Import containers will be unloaded and handled early in Christmas week.
• Around New Year, sea freight operates normally except on 1 January 2026, when traffic is paused.
Air freight – please note holiday changes
• Air freight services run normally during Christmas week.
• However, airlines have limited trucking capacity to and from European hubs.
• To ensure timely delivery, place your air freight bookings before Christmas week.
Road freight – please note holiday changes
• Distribution of week 52 imports arriving from Europe will begin on 29 December 2025.
• Road freight exports from Finland to Europe face limited loading capacity during weeks 51 and 52.
• Export pickups take place on 29–31 December 2025 and 2 January 2026.
