On June 10, 2022, the competition container of the Finnish Olympic Committee & Finnish Paralympic Committee, which had returned to Finland from the world tour, was unloaded in the yard of the CHS logistics center. The container will remain in the CHS Espoo warehouse, waiting to go to the next Olympics.
CHS Group participated in an international partner network meeting held in Athens, Greece on May 18-21, 2022. The main focus of the event was on road freight and to develop cooperation between our global partners.
CHS measures customer experience regularly to hear the voice of the customers and to understand more how we are succeeding to match their expectations. Our latest customer experience survey was executed together with our partner Funnel Oy in early 2022. This year’s survey inspired twice as many respondents as the previous survey and the response rate was a spectacular 35.3%.
This active response rate gives good reflection of our customers commitment towards our cooperation.
The Arab Health Fair was held in Dubai at the end of January 2022 and the six month continuous World Expo (Dubai Expo 2020) is still open in the city until the end of March. CHS Group has transported products to both events. In addition to the fairs, CHS also participated in the Middle East Regional Partner Network Conference, which took place on 21-24 February 2022 in Dubai.
The journey of the giant engines towards South America started last weekend from the port of Rauma, Finland.
Due to the state of war, all shipments to and from Ukraine have been suspended for the time being. It is good to note that the state of war is likely to affect transportation worldwide.
When looking at the Olympic Games, it may not occur what a logistical effort the entire competition event is. CHS Air & Sea has had the honour of ensuring the transport of The Finnish Olympic Committee and The Finnish Paralympic Committee around the world since the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, followed by the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeong Chang, South Korea and also followed by the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games 2021.
We participated in the Logistics Summit 2021 seminar organized by LOGY together with Elina Laine, Sustainability Manager of the Finnish Olympic Committee. The topic of the day was sustainable and responsible logistics.
The event industry is recovering from corona, and we are happy to once again be able to transport various goods to events, trade fairs and exhibitions around the world.
